Hello I am looking for a plugin that allows me to name any sketchup object even if it is not a component is there such a plugin?

New to this, can anybody help please?
Hello. So I have a small landscaping business whilst also studying landscaping design. I have started a design in Sketchup, and imported it to Lumion.
Trouble is, I need to go back to Sketchup to make a few changes, then finally back to Lumion again to give it a bit of polish.
Is there a way to do this, to re-load my Lumion work back into Sketchup, make a few changes then go back to Lumion again? (Without losing my work).
Any help much appreciated.

Sketup Crashes rendering
I’m using SketchUp Pro 2019 with V-Ray
Computer keeps crashing when doing renderings. File is 124 Mb
I purge materials often
Computer - Windows 64 Bit
Processor - Intel i7-4790 @ 3.60 Ghz
Ram - 12 GB
Video Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 ti - 4 Gb Ram

Can't see purchased extensions
HI I have downloaded free and paid for extensions but they dont appear to be all there and they are not listed as extensions from my drop down although some are in extensions manager. I have quite and restarted skp. i am a beginner sorry!

When I try to iniciate the enscate renderer apears the message “Enscape encountered an error during rendering. It is using your GPU from Intel.”

VRAY keeps on adding section fill. How do I remove it?
I have a section here and I need to render it. It is certainly hollow.
but whenever I render it, vray adds a surface to it.

V- RAY for Sketch Up 4.20.02 crashing
I’ve only been using Vray for a couple of weeks, currently working though the V-Ray for Sketch Up online course and its intermittently crashing. Adding light source - crash, changing light source intensity crash, adding material crash, sometime in interactive render sometimes not.
I’ve troubled shot with Chaos Group over team viewer and they weren’t able to give an exact reason, other than it was a bad install. Re installed and having the same issue.
Currently in a trial period, but its annoyingly currently unusable and very frustrating
I’m using a brand new MacBook Pro 16inch, with 2.3GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9 and 32 GB ram.
Anyone else experiencing problems ?

Animated water
Hey everyone
I have been working on a house with sketchup and archicad for a while now, and I am using vray to create photorealistic renderings. However, I recently started doing animations with vray, and I think that it works fine. My next challenge is to do an animation in which the water inside the pool is animated and not fixed. I cannot find any tutorial on how it is done, but I saw the video on youtube. It gives absolutely no indication on how they made it, but that’s basically what I’m aiming at.
Any ideas ?

Solid Inspector Problem
Hi,
I want to see every group solid or not . But also there is solid problem in model bu if I select all groups the solid inspector not showing any error.
Is there a solution?

Facade Plugin?
Hello, I am currently working on a Sketchup project and I wanted to know if there is a plugin that will allow me to select a face and that with a dialog box will allow me to define this face as a facade that would have several layers and textures, everything without the face itself changing shape (3D) in Sketchup ?

Help Wrapping Texture Around Cylinder Handrail
Hi,
I have a Vray texture and I’m having difficulty applying it to a cylinder handrail neatly.
When I apply the texture it appears “segregated” when rendered with Vray. I think this due to the cylinder being created from a cirlce with segments. I don’t know how to create a cylinder from a circle with no segements though.
I’ve attatched images below of both the texture I’m using and how it appears when applied on a handrail and rendered. Also attatched is the handrail and texture as a component.
Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Visualiser extension
Hi all,
I used to run 2015Pro before losing it on a Windows reinstall process, and Colin helped me find my way back and I have 2017Pro running now.
Trouble is, I cannot get Visualiser which is in my view a magic little rendering tool and no longer available nor supported by 2017.
Can anyone help me either find a way to get Visualiser back and running here, or suggest a similar tool. I don’t really have a need for full rendering as I am retired and just help out folk with simple design projects, and in truth I am considering going back to 2015 if that’s the only way I can get that tool.

Render(in) does not work
Hi There, Iam having trouble opening Renderin in Sketchup. I dl. a trail version, and activated it with the extension-manager. Now when I open the plugin it is asking for a serialnr. Witch you should not need.
I looked on there side for installation and I should open Prefrences in SkP and choose Extension in the dialog. But I don’t have that in the Dialog. I could go for Applications, but that doest work (how to remove that link btw) Hope anybody knows what to do? Thanks. Greetings Dion
